Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the AlexFisher website, accounts, community and tools. By using AlexFisher, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

AlexFisher provides marine and fishing condition tools, planning tools, a community, learning content, and AI-assisted tools such as "Read My Fishing Spot". Some features are informational only and are described in more detail in our Marine Safety and AI Disclaimer pages.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be old enough to use online services in your country to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse AlexFisher. This includes not using the service to:

• Harass, threaten or discriminate against others
• Post spam, malicious links or impersonate another person
• Share private information about someone without consent
• Encourage illegal fishing, protected-species violations, or illegal gear or methods
• Infringe someone else's intellectual property
• Attempt to disrupt, hack or reverse-engineer the service

4. Intellectual property

AlexFisher's branding, design, software and original content are owned by AlexFisher or its licensors. Content you upload remains yours — see our User Content Policy for the limited licence you grant us to host and display it.

5. No guarantee of results

AlexFisher provides forecasts, activity ratings and AI-assisted guidance to help you plan, but we do not guarantee any particular fishing outcome, catch, or that conditions will match a forecast. Marine and weather conditions can change quickly and without warning.

6. No guarantee of uninterrupted service

We aim to keep AlexFisher available, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors. Features may change, be paused, or be discontinued.

7. Third-party services

AlexFisher may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, sign-in providers, AI providers, or affiliate/sponsored content). We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to AlexFisher, including community access, for abuse, fraud, illegal activity, or breach of these terms or the Community Guidelines.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, AlexFisher is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and AlexFisher is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of AlexFisher after a change means you accept the updated terms.
