User Content Policy

This policy covers content you upload or post to AlexFisher — including community posts and images, and photos, maps or screenshots submitted to AI analysis tools such as Read My Fishing Spot.

You own your content

You retain full ownership of any photo, text, comment or other content you upload or post to AlexFisher. Nothing in this policy transfers ownership of your content to AlexFisher.

The licence you grant us

By uploading or posting content, you grant AlexFisher a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, display and analyse that content solely as needed to operate AlexFisher — for example, to show your community post to other members, or to run AI analysis on an image you submit. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where a copy is reasonably needed for backups, legal compliance, or dispute records.

You confirm you have the right to upload

By uploading a photo, screenshot, map or other file, you confirm that you own the content or have permission to use and share it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

Private analysis stays private

Images you upload to a private analysis tool, such as "Read My Fishing Spot", remain private by default. They are not automatically published, shared or shown to the Community — sharing only happens if you explicitly choose to post or share that content yourself.
